Position Overview:
As a member of the internal 6G innovation team, you will work on pioneering advancements in wireless communication technologies. This role involves developing state-of-the-art solutions for next-generation cellular systems. With a focus on 3GPP standards in areas such as RAN and SA, you will collaborate with global standards bodies to influence the evolution of 6G. You will participate in innovative research projects, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to establishing the organization as a leader in next-generation telecommunications.
Depending on experience and qualifications, this role may be filled at various seniority levels (e.g., Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer).
Key Responsibilities:
As a 6G Standards Research Engineer, you will:

• Conduct advanced research in 6G technologies, focusing on transmission and reception mechanisms.
• Propose novel algorithms and enhancements for 6G systems aligned with global standards evolution.
• Develop patentable solutions addressing industry challenges and supporting new 6G features.
• Contribute to intellectual property generation and support all stages of the patent process.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align research with business goals.
• Track and analyze emerging wireless communication trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Present research findings and technical insights to partners, clients, and at industry events.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Ph.D. strongly preferred
• Experience with 3GPP standards (RAN1, RAN2, or SA2)
• Proven contributions to 3GPP standards and activities
• Demonstrated history of patents in 5G/6G technologies
• Strong ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative
• Adaptability to evolving priorities and organizational structures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and relationship-building
