Skid Steer Loader Product Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced Skid Steer Loader Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Peachtree City, Georgia. This role will focus on the development of both wheeled and tracked skid steer loaders, aligning with the specific demands of the North American market.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development Leadership: Lead the definition, development, and launch of wheeled and tracked skid steer loaders that meet North American market requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of core technologies, such as track suspension damping, upturned cab door mechanisms, and high-flow anti-stalling systems.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute product strategies and market promotion plans that align with our company’s goals. Continuously assess market trends and competitor products to ensure our offerings are competitive and innovative.
- Project Management: Serve as the project manager for new skid steer loader models, overseeing the entire lifecycle from concept through production. Drive project timelines, manage resources, and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on the design and development of structural components, moving arms, track chassis, hydraulic systems, and other critical areas. Ensure that all products are developed in accordance with North American regulations and customer needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve existing production models, conducting reviews, audits, and evaluations to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in skid steer loader product development, with a proven track record of leading new product designs and launches.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience as a project manager, successfully leading teams in the development of new skid steer loader models from inception to production.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the global skid steer loader market, with a strong focus on North American market trends, regulations, and customer preferences.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of skid steer loader systems, including structural parts, moving arms, track chassis, and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Experience: Candidates who have contributed to the development of skid steer products post-2014 and have been involved with models such as Kubota’s SSV65, SSV75, SVL65, SVL75, SVL95, or Takeuchi’s TL6R, TL8R, TL10V, TL12R, TL12V are particularly encouraged to apply.
