Field Applications Engineer

US Field Application Engineer (West Coast/Midwest/Great Lakes).

Position Overview
Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for computer vision, machine learning, and embedded systems? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments shaping the future of AI?
In this role, you’ll serve as a technical expert for customers in your region, supporting the growth and adoption of our AI platform. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate closely with our R&D teams across Europe to ensure customers receive top-tier technical support.
You’ll help customers evaluate, integrate, and deploy our AI hardware products, including PCIe boards, modules, and vision systems—primarily through our proprietary SDK designed for deploying AI models and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers in your territory
• Address technical inquiries and resolve issues directly or in coordination with R&D teams
• Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to support product launches and promote platform capabilities
• Partner with Sales to expand customer accounts, identify new opportunities, and support key wins
• Document and track customer interactions and ensure timely follow-ups
• Collect and communicate customer feedback to Product Management for continuous improvement
• Conduct competitive and market analysis based on customer insights
• Assist in the creation of clear and compelling technical documentation
• Advocate for customers internally to ensure their needs are met and drive product enhancements

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Background in the semiconductor or AI industry, ideally in a customer-facing technical support or application engineering role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
• Self-starter with a passion for staying current on AI technologies
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, OpenCL, or CUDA
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and hands-on experience with hardware platforms
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%)
