We first started speaking with USA Tech Recruit regarding the Samsung android voice assistant (a voice-powered digital assistant for the Samsung Galaxy range) project with very aggressive ramp up figures of 0 to 190 across 3 major sites – Munich, Paris and Milan. The offices were ready, the project was starting imminently but there were only a few engineers onsite or secured.
We interviewed 192 qualified CVs from USA Tech Recruit, placing 55 consultant SW engineers and technical leaders across all sites. They quickly became the programs lead supplier (No.1 of 25 globally).
USA Tech Recruit were able to use all their recruiters to service our needs, accessing their full delivery capability across the whole company as one unit, and using one point of contact as an Account Manager.
The consistent quality of the candidates sent meant we were able to staff phase 1 of the project within 2-3 months, placing entry or experienced engineers and technical leaders all on freelance/contract. USA Tech Recruit managed the end-to-end solution including compliance in all three countries.
We found working with European Tech Recruit simple and transparent. We had one dedicated Account Manager for everything, including CVs, arranging interviews, and delivering offers. He was available at round the clock (including weekends) to assist with any issue that came up. European Tech Recruit were able to work to extreme deadlines, working as a partner rather than an agency, staffing all areas including NLP, NLU, ASR and TTS. In addition, at times we asked them to search for translators with no real technical ability and they still produced quality candidates that are still working with us now.
European Tech Recruit produced more quality applicants than any other agency on this program and now we continue to work closely with Ian and his team with our other projects (including APAC region) as we trust they can deliver, and we look forward to a long and fruitful continued relationship with them.

What It is Like to Be Part of Our Team
Best recruitment agency I have ever worked for
Supportive - since the day I started I have received an abundance of support from my management team as well as my colleagues. I work remotely which previously has shown to be quite lonely, however I speak with members of my team/others team every single day. Flexible - I joined the team by telling them that I wanted to work in a different vertical to Technology - they were more than happy for me to do this and have considered the best way to support me in this - I am now working in a team closely with another colleague who works on similar positions to help build my desk out. Culture - Everyone is treated with respect at EU Recruit, I have worked in 2 agencies prior to this and in both experiences there were elements of micromanagement, scaremongering, toxic relationships, anxiety about going to work etc.
I have been here almost 6 months and I am very happy working for them. They also put on a lot of social events - Christmas party, Summer Party (which I attended in my first week!), football nights for the world cup, pizza days for new starters, as well as the teams arranging things between themselves, such as ice skating at the Pavilion! Salary + Benefits - Honestly I don't think you will find a recruitment agency that offers you better compensation and benefits, I have worked in the industry for peanuts previously and then eventually found a company where my time and efforts are rewarded as well as having a great commission structure and also benefits! This is the first recruitment agency I have come across to actually offer benefits.
Agency recruitment - as good as it gets
I worked for European Recruitment for 6 years. In that time, I have made more money than I thought I would, visited clients across Europe, been taken away on 4 international company holidays + countless lunch clubs/company parties/events, and in the process met some of my closest friends. I cannot speak highly enough of the culture they have built - it is the reason I joined and the reason I stayed when on numerous occasions I considered leaving. Though there have been some inevitable changes as the company has grown - from ~20 employees when I joined to almost 100 - the management team deserve huge credit for maintaining the company culture and environment that has made them successful.
Opportunities for progression are offered on merit and performance not length of service, hard work is rewarded, and promises are kept. I will say the same here as I said to my team when I was allowed (and encouraged) to hire one after 5 years in the business: I sincerely believe that if you want to work as an agency recruiter, this is the best place to do it.
Maternity leave
I've worked at European Recruitment for a little over 6 years. After 5 years of working here full-time, I went on maternity leave to have my first child. During my leave, the company grew quickly, with lots of changes and people joining the business. I was worried I would be returning to a completely different company and wasn't entirely looking forward to my return, as I didn't know how I would feel with so many changes to the business and also worried I would feel overwhelmed by starting back at work after a long period of time away. However, I was really pleasantly surprised to find that the company had the same culture and feel.
I received a warm welcome back, from old and new faces, and fell back into work with ease. I didn't feel overwhelmed with starting back or trying to balance what is now a part-time position with caring for my son. All in all it's been a great return to work :)

Working for European Recruitment was a memorable experience. The culture is vibrant and dynamic and the structure is such that career growth and progression is transparent and achievable for focussed and dedicated employees. Recognition and celebration of achievements is key to this business, thus creating an engaging culture. There are clear KPIs and targets to be met, so not for the casual passenger, but the rewards financially can be plentiful and earned if you are great at relationship building and have resilience.
The main office is centrally based in Brighton, industrial style across multiple floors. There are kitchen areas and free refreshments both treats and healthy! Just a great place to work ….
I have worked with European Recruitment for over 4 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time here. There is no glass ceiling with opportunities for progression within ERL, management are supportive and encourage your choice of development path…..whatever that may be.
Before I decided to work in recruitment I had heard horror stories of nasty sales environments and cowboy recruitment, working here couldn’t be further from the truth.
Management are also very keen to reward the company with trips away. Since I have worked here I have visited Barcelona, Berlin and have an upcoming trip to NYC.
The best thing about my job is I get to work with friendly people every day whilst making a very decent income.
Great career development route
• Started end of February 2018 and less than two years later, have been promoted twice to reach Senior Consultant level, with the knowledge that conversations about how to reach Principal level will follow.
• Progressions routes were very clear throughout, and targets set to allow you to continue in areas of high performance. I have been more on the billing side, than the generating side, so my progression route has allowed me to stick to what works well for me and I enjoy doing day to day.
• A lot of opportunities to be involved with training more junior members, and to be involved with discussions on how we can improve workflows company-wide.
• Management are very receptive to feedback on what recruiters think work and what doesn’t.

Relaxed, but focused and hardworking!
• Relaxed environment focused on quality not quantity.
• Not KPI focused with no real focus on call times, but instead looking at the real stats that matter (CV and interviews).
• Open to change, using a 'better box' system which can be initiated by any member of staff when they submit their ideas to management.
• Clear progression path with achievable promotions in career and financially from as soon as 3-6 month from joining.
• Recently the whole company went to New York in 2017 as we hit a company record in 2016. We also went to Berlin in 2016 from hitting targets in 2015.
Great team and good benefits
People are nice and fun to be around, lots of socials, fun activities, and charity events. Teams like to hang out after work together which is a good sign. The benefits pack is good, salary is competitive. They offer flexibility such as hybrid or remote working.

Amazing team culture
Working at ERL the past 18 months has been enlightening. The team culture is incredible, and I love the diversity of the company. It's a rewarding and fair company to work for. Commission structure is extremely good giving you the potential to earn high. Lots of different sectors to focus your recruitment on.

Great company, great culture, excellent people
The office is great - light, high ceilings and plenty of space (also slap bang in the middle of the laines, which is great for lunch). The people who work here are all likeminded, social and friendly. Managers are supportive and are flexible for things like appointments/WFH when needed.
ERL offer great incentives like company holidays, lunch clubs, Friday afternoon early finishes and great socials, which can act as good icebreakers if you are new to the company.
