We’re partnering with a deep-tech startup building AI-driven systems to transform semiconductor verification. Their platform captures how top design verification engineers solve complex problems and converts that expertise into intelligent, proactive AI workflows—helping chip teams find bugs faster and accelerate tape-out. Already deployed with leading semiconductor companies, the team sits at the intersection of AI and advanced silicon development.

They are now hiring a Founding Silicon Engineer to serve as the domain expert behind their AI systems, working hands-on with real verification environments and shaping how AI is applied to chip design and verification workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the architecture of domain-specific AI systems, defining how intelligent agents approach complex chip verification challenges.
  • Build and maintain integrations between AI systems and industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA/Questa).
  • Work directly with CAD and verification environments to test and validate AI-generated outputs.
  • Deploy solutions into customer environments, collaborating closely with verification teams at leading semiconductor companies.
  • Translate real-world insights and domain expertise into new product features and improvements to AI system capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2–8 years of experience in ASIC/SoC design and verification.
  • Strong experience with digital verification methodologies, including SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as Synopsys and Cadence.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated interest in applying AI to chip design or verification workflows.
  • Background at leading semiconductor companies, next-generation silicon startups, or advanced silicon teams within large technology companies is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a founder or early engineer in a startup is a plus.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in a scrappy, customer-facing environment.
