Integrations Engineer

Our client is an AI-driven proptech company that is reshaping how housing access and consumer underwriting work across the United States. Over a million people have already gained access to housing through their platform, which replaces traditional manual underwriting with intelligent systems that can extract, interpret, and validate financial and identity data from complex documents.

At the core of the product is a conversational underwriting system that interacts directly with renters, building fair and consistent financial profiles while embedding fraud detection and document intelligence into every step. The company serves large real estate operators and property managers, helping them make faster, more reliable, and more inclusive leasing decisions while improving conversion and reducing operational overhead.

We are looking for an Integrations Engineer with 3+ years of experience to own critical property management system integrations that expand the company’s core product reach. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer delivery, and systems integration, working directly with complex and often unreliable third-party APIs used across the real estate industry.

Preferably, this would be an onsite role in SF OR a remote role if you have the right qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain integrations with property management systems such as RealPage, AppFolio, Yardi, Entrata, and similar platforms
• Turn unreliable third-party APIs into robust, production-grade bidirectional data sync systems
• Design and maintain resilient data pipelines and workflows for syncing information between internal systems and external ERP platforms
• Use automated tooling and agents to interpret and adapt to inconsistent or undocumented API behaviour
• Collaborate directly with customers, sales, and customer success teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions that support real-world deployments
• Improve reliability, observability, and fault tolerance across integration systems in production

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience building API and ERP integrations, ideally within property management or proptech environments
• Hands-on experience with RealPage, AppFolio, Yardi, Entrata, or similar legacy property management systems (non-negotiable preference)
• Strong experience building bidirectional data synchronisation systems, scrapers, or durable asynchronous workflows on top of unreliable APIs
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Experience working with Postgres, queues, and async processing systems
• Proven experience operating in environments with unstable, undocumented, or evolving third-party APIs
