What were your priorities when looking for a new role?
Industry: my passion for customer service, delivery, and aviation
Tell us about your career highlights – how you started and how you came to the position you’re in now.
I started my career in aviation as a cabin attendant because of my love for travel, worked through the different ranks, moved into operations and work through the different departments, and progressed into management. My highlights were the different countries I visited, the diversity I experienced along the way, and all the knowledge I gained over the years.
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
- Collaboration and exploring new ways of working from different perspectives.
- What are some career challenges you’ve faced along the way?
- Time, work-life balance after starting a family, multiple change management over a short period of time.
What crucial skill sets are required to succeed in your industry?
Collaborations and listening skills.
What advice would you give to others who are looking to enter the tech industry?
Be open to change and continuous learning.
What can tech businesses do to attract and retain more female talent?
Allow flexibility and have a transparent and fair growth plan for both male and female staff.
