Senior Epitaxy Scientist

Drive research on III-nitride semiconductor optoelectronics, with a focus on MOCVD process development for UV LEDs. Collaborate with teams, meet research targets, and stay updated on field advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop MOCVD processes to advance UV LED technology
• Lead R&D projects on III-nitride semiconductor structures
• Optimize and characterize LED structures
• Analyze and document research data
• Address production yield and device material issues
• Collaborate with internal/external research teams
• Prepare reports and updates for meetings

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant engineering or MS with research experience
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Experience & Skills

• Hands-on MOCVD and deposition processes experience
• Expertise in materials characterization
• Cleanroom experience (e.g., lithography, etching)
• Knowledge of semiconductor materials, technologies, and device design
• Strong problem-solving and experimental skills
• Team-oriented, organized, and results-driven
