R&D Specialist – Backhoe Loader Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative R&D Specialist with a strong background in backhoe loader design to join our dynamic team in Peachtree City, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of backhoe loaders, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Backhoe Loader Design: Lead the design and development of complete backhoe loader systems, ensuring robust and efficient designs that meet industry standards.
• Technical Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the product technology roadmap, providing expert guidance on design and engineering best practices.
• 3D/2D Design Expertise: Utilize your expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drafting to create detailed design documents, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
• Component Sourcing: Independently manage the selection and procurement of system components and working parts, ensuring that all elements meet quality and performance criteria.
• Technical Leadership: Drive the technical development of the product system, providing mentorship and training to junior team members, and building the technical capabilities of the team.
• Customer Collaboration: Engage directly with customers to deeply understand their needs, establishing effective communication channels to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
• Problem-Solving: Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges during both the design phase and mass production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in backhoe loader design or a closely related field, with a proven track record of successful product development.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in 3D design software and experienced in 2D drafting, with a deep understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external customers.
